To my beloved.

You came,
Like a monsoon rain.
That chum the red dust,
like the thickened blood in heated veins.
Where restless thoughts,
bubble and steam.

Like the desert winds,
That last with fury the wild cactus flower.
Making the earth tremble before their power,
Leaving me helpless,
Lost in a dream.

Like blue mists;
That creep over the eyes, and into the brain.
Joggling the senses, numbing the pain.
Blinding me,
And guiding me to your realm.

Like the rain,
Like the mist,
You faded away..
leaving behind not a trace,
But the distance memory of,
A once loved face.
